Home Instead CAREGivers provide a variety of non-medical services that allow seniors to remain in their homes. We help clients and their families meet the challenges of aging with dignity, pride, care and compassion.

CORE CAREGivers are hired to bring presence-driven care with clients for 15-30 hours per week.

Duties include, but are not limited to:

• Companionship
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Transportation/errands
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer's Care
• Personal Care

Basic Requirements to be a CAREGiver:

• Genuine passion for helping and caring for others.
• Ability to communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner
• Must be 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass a drug screen, DMV check and criminal background check
• Possess a valid driver's license
• Must have valid car insurance
• Own reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 25 lbs. Ability to bend, twist, stoop, kneel and reach.
• Must possess active cell phone connectivity
• Must have an active email address
• Ability to transport client in your vehicle, or clients vehicle.

No previous experience necessary – paid skills training provided by Home Instead
